2011 Redskin Youth Football Camp (click here for pics) The 3rd annual Redskin Youth Football Camp was held at Lancaster High School June 26th-30th 2011 with over 150 campers in attendance. Campers received instruction from the Lancaster football staff, varsity players and alumni. The 4th Annual camp will be held June 25-28, 2012. Fundamentals of offense & defense are taught to campers from 8-15 years old. In addition to daily 7vs7 games there will be daily competitions and guest speakers. Check back by early February 2012 to download a 2012 camp brochure.
Zach Maryniewski won the 2010 Chris Wanat Memorial Scholarship. All seniors that graduate in 2011 can apply for the $1500 scholarship. Applications can be submitted to the athletic office in the high school until Friday May 20, 2011. Click here for an application.
All WNY LB Cory Davis was the 2009 New York State Football AA Student Athlete of the Year at the NYS coaches clinic. Cory is attending Hobart College and is playing football while majoring in mathematics.

Ryan Radke rushed for 3 TD's in the Skins opening night victory.
The Skins rushed for 305 yards on 42 carries vs Frontier.
Ryan Radke returns at QB in 2011 after rushing for 11 TD's and averaging almost 8 yds/carry in 2010.
Hayden Schonert started at inside linebacker as a sophomore in 2010 and finished second on the team in tackles. Schonert will be a leader for the Skins the next two years.
Liam O'Brien returns as a third starter in 2011. Liam had 20 receptions for 300 yds in 2010.
Mike Emerson returns for his senior season in 2011 after finishing 3rd on the team in tackles in 2010.
Jordan Kihl is a returning starter on the line for the Skins in 2011.
Andrew Bless returns at center for the Skins in '11.
The Redskins are counting on Cory Fohrd to be a two way starter on the line in 2011.
Zach Amborski is looking to have a big senior season after having his '10 season cut short with an injury.
Nathan Samborski and Travis Pitzonka were the 2010 IRON MAN Award Winners. This award is determined by testing in ten categories which include strength, speed, endurance, % weight room attendance and playing multiple sports. The award is determined based on offseason workouts and is awarded each June.

The Skins started 3-0 at home before losing in week #4 at Clarence.
Jake Latello returned an interception return for a TD in the Redskins week # 3 win vs Lockport.
Corey Fohrd and Jordan Kihl combined for 3 sacks and 10 tackles. Hayden Schonert also had 10 tackles to lead the Black Shirt Defense.

In addition to workouts that started last December, the Skins competed in passing league tournaments at the Ralph, St. John Fisher and Cicero North Syracuse. The redskins also participated in team camps in June and July (ECC).

Travis Pitzonka finished with 103 tackles on the season and won the coveted Tomahawk Award as the Redskin's hardest hitter in 2010.
Andy Speyer was selected as the MVP of the 2010 Redskins and was a 1st Team Class AA South All-star.
Jeremiah Luderman (#76) was a four year starter and 1st team Class AA South All-star. His father Bob Luderman (right) was a all star for the Redskins in the 1986.
Kyle Taylor rushed for over 600 yards and 7 touchdowns in 2010.

The Redskins completed their 90th season of football in 2009. The team finished 9-1 and ranked #3 in WNY and #7 in NYS and were Class AA South Champions.
