Poudre welcomes New Head Coach
Head Coach Dan Reardon
Coach Reardon recently completed his eighth season at Ursuline High School and has averaged nine wins per year during his reign. His teams have qualified for the state play-offs in five of those seasons. The 2010 team was named Associated Press State Champions after finishing the regular season a perfect 10-0, and went on to win the school’s third consecutive OHSAA State Championship 2008, 2009, 2010 (only the sixth school to accomplish that feat in Ohio history). Coach Reardon has helped to place 55 of his players into college football programs over his time at Ursuline.
Coach Reardon has been named the National Football Foundation Paul Brown Coach of the Year three times (2008, 2009, and 2010), the Mahoning Valley Coaches Association Coach of the Year twice (2004 and 2010), and The Mahoning Valley Big-22 Coach of the Year four times (2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010). Coach Reardon has worked with the likes of Jim Tressel and John Harbaugh as he spent some time in the college ranks.
Dan is a 1990 graduate of Canfield High School, a 1995 graduate of Youngstown State University, and earned a masters degree from Indiana University in 2001. Dan and his wife, Amanda, have three children, Emma (12), Matthew (10), and Patrick (1). They are expecting a fourth child in May.
