SWARMIN' HORNETS' MISSION STATEMENT

The commitment of Damascus Football is education of our student athletes FOR LIFE, in order that they may maximize their potential in the totality of their lives; spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically.  This is done in a four part plan:

1.     To create an atmosphere and environment for all players to be successful as people; their involvement in the program will help prepare them for future challenges and enable them to be more successful in life.

2.     To provide academic support for each player to become a successful student-athlete who can have unlimited opportunities in the future.

3.     To help each player reach their full athletic potential and to have the opportunity to win a championship.

4.     To have players who want a football experience built upon life long relationships; player to player, player to coach, and coach to player, integrated within the greater community.

Though we have great interest in individuals with athletic ability, we are much more interested in their CHARACTER AND ATTITUDE.  Our priority and strategic intention is to use the vehicle of football to develop the young MEN under our care.
