Truman - Lilly - Earp - Pinnex Put on Show!
The Flying Eagles just finished thier first test out of the off season and the Flying Eagles are poised to turn around their season from last year. Tyler Truman benched 385 easy while breaking the school squat record with 610 lbs. Max Lilly Benched 315 and broke the school lineman squat record with 555 lb squat. Jessee Earp ran the fastest time in the 40 yard dash with a 4.57 time and Devonte Pinnex put on a show breaking the WR Squat record with a 455 squat. The Flying Eagles have starters back in every position and have that chip on thier shoulder after last year!
Winter Fund Raiser !!!!!
Our Winter Fund Raiser has begun this week. We nee all Players to work hard on it! We are in cooperation with Mydreamsports.com for this all important fund raiser!
Second HITMAN session was a hit again!
30 Players signed up for the second High Intensity Training session on Saturday Feburary 20 at the Football Field House ! The team is wroking hard in the Off Season to get that Wheeling feeling!
Board Records Fall on First Test Out !!!
Three Board Records fall on first day! Tyler Truman broke Josh Williams All Time Squat record with 610 pound record. Max Lilly broke Rodney Robinson squat record with a 555 pounds and Devonte Pinnex broke Matt Morris WR record with a 455 pound squat ! Overall the team finished the first 7 weeks of training and first test out with a bang!
Adam Cook Signs at University of Charleston !
AAAdaam Cook signed a letter of intent to play football at the University of Charleston. Adam is the first Flying Eagle to sign to continue his career on the next level. Adam will be kicking for UC next year. He received a partial scholarship and with his outstanding academic scholorship it looks like he has achieved his goal of playing on the next level.

Congrats to Tyler Truman #44 for being named WWHS Old Spice Player of the year for 2010!!!
Congrats to Doug Legursky and Adam Parkulo for being named to the All Decade Football Team. Doug won the Hunt Award for the Best Lineman in WV and Adam won the Huff Award for the Best Defensive Player in WV.

Finally In the Weight Room - We had 49 football players in the weight room on the first day! What a grereat way to begin the 2010 season - Every starter back on the Offenase and defense line and record breaking QB JC Pennington back - It is good to be an Eagle!
Weights Cancelled on December 23 due to School cancellation.

Team Meeting/Organizational Meeting
Any student interested in playing football for the 2010 season should see Coach Lilly. The coaching staff will be passing out important sheets for the upcoming meeting! The meeting will be held at the WWHS football field house on December 17th @ 3:00 pm.
